Bajarack Australia Warranty Policy           

 

BAJARACK AUSTRALIA warrants the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Products against defects in workmanship and materials for the Warranty Period.    

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure at BAJARACK AUSTRALIAS sole discretion.

 

 BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Products Warranty Against Defects

  1. BAJARACK AUSTRALIA warrants the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Products against defects in workmanship and materials for the Warranty Period. If defective workmanship or materials become apparent in the Warranty Period, BAJARACK AUSTRALIA will replace or repair the defective BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product.
  2. The benefits to the customer given by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the customer under a law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates.

In this warranty; BAJARACK AUSTRALIA means

BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Pty Ltd (16 165 153 551) of

BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Outlet means an outlet which has been authorised by BAJARACK AUSTRALIA to sell and fit BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Products;

    • BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product means products which BAJARACK AUSTRALIA manufactures or for which BAJARACK AUSTRALIA is the exclusive supplier;
    • Product Information means the information about the relevant BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product which may be contained in any of: documentation provided with the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product, owner’s manual, operating manual, service manual, the manufacturer’s manual or labels attached to the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product;
    • Warranty Period means, in respect of an BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product, the period that this warranty against defects applies and which is set out in the table in paragraph
  
  1. BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Products – Warranty Against Defects

To be entitled to claim the warranty, the customer must:

    • Have the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product fitted in accordance with the Product Information;
    • Carry out normal care and maintenance of the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product, including any required by the Product Information;
    • Provide proof of purchase of the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product;
    • Make the claim in the Warranty Period.

 

 

  1. The warranty will not apply in circumstances where the defect is caused by:
    • Unusual, improper or negligent use or misuse of the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product;
    • Incorrect fitting of the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product other than at an BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Outlet;
    • Loading the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product with weights in excess of the Product Information;
    • Use of non-genuine BAJARACK AUSTRALIA components in or with the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product;
    • Use on vehicles with modifications not approved in the Product Information or at an BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Outlet at the time of fitting;
    • Caused by racing or competition use;
    • Use of the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product outside of the requirements of the Product Information.

 

  1. The procedure for the customer to claim the warranty is:
    • Obtain a return authorisation number by emailing admin@bajarackaustralia.com and supply photographs and a description of the warranty concern.
    • Return the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product to the nearest BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Outlet or contact BAJARACK AUSTRALIA to arrange a time to bring a vehicle fitted with the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product to an BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Outlet for inspection. Contact details are in paragraph 7) below if further information is required regarding local outlet details;
    • Supply proof of purchase of the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product to the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Outlet;
    • BAJARACK AUSTRALIA will review the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product and advise whether the conditions of this warranty have been met.

  1. Where BAJARACK AUSTRALIA accepts a customer’s warranty claim, BAJARACK AUSTRALIA will rectify any defective workmanship or materials at its own expense.
  2. Expenses incurred by the customer in claiming the warranty are to be borne by the customer.
  3. The period within which a defect in the BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Products must appear if the customer is to be entitled to claim the warranty is 2 years or 40,000km (whichever comes first) starting on the date of purchase.
  4. BAJARACK AUSTRALIA Product Warranty Period for the final finish (.e. powder or ecoated) material is 24 months and specifically excludes wear and tear, chaffing and corrosion.
  5. 2 years or 40,000km for any BARARACK AUSTRALIA accessory when used correctly in the manner described in the product description.
